Management of spinal injuries and disorders including lower back pain scoliosis, sport injury, herniated discs and sciatica can be done by Vertetrac lumbar ambulatory decompression. This system is an innovative and cost effective approach to correct. Traditional traction methods can be performed by Vertetrac such as body braces and decompression tables through implementing 3-D decompression: vertical, horizontal, symmetrical and asymmetrical traction, allowing for complete freedom of movement during therapy.

In order to enables simultaneous 3-D decompression therapy from all dimensions our novel product applies decompression with horizontal force.

The patient is encouraged to take in active rehabilitation during session in order to instigate faster recovery. The vertetrac allows for complete freedom of movement.

Research shows that transfer of fluid is important for the normal biomechanics of the disc and is possible when spine is in motion. Traction reduces the intro-discal pressure on the nerve root and dural sac. Disc disorders are accompanied by muscle spasms and decreased transmission of fluid which accelerates disc degeneration.

Case Study:

Patient Account: An old female, aged 47 years complained about low back pain, severe back ache on the left side with neurological signs and as indicated by the red arrow severe left neural foranimal herniation of the disk that causes stenosis along with slight spinal cord pressure.

Therapy Details: Therapy for two weeks and then for two 2 months every other day.

Therapy Results: the patient no longer endures the pain and there is no complaint of backache, neurological signs and sciatica. The MRI results show that the disc is not herniated and there is mild oedema of the left root without the spinal cord pressure.
